About Us

The Markington & District Rural Billiards & Snooker League was established in 1952, with its teams based in attractive Nidderdale in the western part of North Yorkshire. The league carries on a tradition of competitive Billiards and Snooker over a large rural area covering approximately one hundred and fifty square miles. League headquarters is at Ripley Star Club, just north of Harrogate.
