About us

The Markington & District Rural Billiards & Snooker League was established in 1952 and is located in the beautiful Nidderdale region of North Yorkshire. The league has a proud tradition of promoting competitive billiards and snooker across a vast rural area spanning approximately 150 square miles.

The Ripley Star Club, situated north of Harrogate, serves as the headquarters for the league, and all participating clubs are welcoming and open to new members.
